December 1st Milestone prioritization (all; 15 minutes)

Objective: Release the site for an invited public testing period to include the following features:

  • Rich support for five classes (Gene, Variation, Sequence, Protein, Clone)
  • Basic object searching
  • Login features, and maintenance of state in load-balanced environment
  • Look-and-feel refined to public prototype
  • Global navigation elements
  • Example of a Tool section page (Blast)
  • Example of a Meta section page (Ontology? Laboratory?)
  • A user survey for those testing the site
