New Data:
---------
10,572 new Feature sites including SL1 and SL2 trans-spliced sequence sites, poly-A
sites and putative translation start and translation end sites have been added to this release.

Contigs of short reads which confirm these Features or which confirm introns have also been
added as Sequence objects.

This data is derived from analyses of the RNAseq data from LaDeana
Hillier and Bob Waterston:

Massively parallel sequencing of the polyadenylated transcriptome of C. elegans.

New Fixes:
----------

Known Problems:
---------------

Other Changes:
--------------
The Non-elegans blastx data is no longer loaded into the full acedb database release.

If you require a complete database with all data for each species you will have to
install acedb as usual from

ftp://ftp.sanger.ac.uk/pub/wormbase/WS211/acedb/

and then load in the blastx data under:

ftp://ftp.sanger.ac.uk/pub/wormbase/WS211/acedb/Non_C_elegans_BLASTX/

Proposed Changes / Forthcoming Data:
-------------------------------------

Model Changes:
------------------------------------
Added tags to allow 2 features to be associated with each other.

Example:

If there are a rair of identical features mapping to different loci

Associations	Associated_with_Feature ?Feature XREF Associated_with_Feature #Evidence

Quick installation guide for UNIX/Linux systems
-----------------------------------------------

1. Create a new directory to contain your copy of WormBase,
	e.g. /users/yourname/wormbase

2. Unpack and untar all of the database.*.tar.gz files into
this directory. You will need approximately 2-3 Gb of disk space.

3. Obtain and install a suitable acedb binary for your system
	(available from www.acedb.org).

4. Use the acedb 'xace' program to open your database, e.g.
type 'xace /users/yourname/wormbase' at the command prompt.

5. See the acedb website for more information about acedb and
	using xace.
