• Information about updated Bma-daf-12 transcript submitted in a comment on ACKnowledge form
  • https://github.com/WormBase/website/issues/9358
  • Hinxton will take care of it.
  • We may allow the community to use APOLLO for curation within a year.
  • The current WB sequence pipeline is 20 years. It will be best if we can rewrite the whole sequence pipeline. Can the Alliance team do it for all species?
  • WormBase is one of the few MODs doing sequence-based curation. We need to identify who else is doing this so that we can collaborate. This is already written in the grant application.

• ISB and TAGC meetings overlap the first week of March
• ISB - Faridabad, India
  • Abstract deadline - November 15, 2023
  • WormBase will not go

• TAGC meeting - Washington, DC
  • Abstract deadline - November 9, 2023
  • Paul, Wen, Chris, Karen, Daniela, Kimberly, and Scott will go
  • Paul will submit an abstract for an Alliance talk. Scott will submit an abstract for an Alliance JBrowse talk.
  • We will figure out offline how to get chairs at the TAGC. The rental of a chair is >$130 at the meeting.

• ID Minting in the Alliance.
  • Does the Alliance ID minting system need to create MOD IDs?
    • ZFIN curator creates a new ID in the system and can use it in real-time for curation.
    • Need more discussion.
