1) Elsevier linking
To summarize: Elsevier would like to put a link to Wormbase via adding a logo on the ScienceDirect pages, in the same fashion they are doing for MGI and EMAGE. go here
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0012160604007456 and look on the right column 'Data for this article'
The link to Wormbase will point to the paper page showing the referenced curated data e.g. http://www.wormbase.org/resources/paper/WBPaper00001770#30--10
In order to do this they want us to approve the following statement
"By emailing this logo, I grant Elsevier and its sub-licensees a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, non-exclusive right and license to display, publish and otherwise use this logo in any format in connection with the linking between [DATABASE NAME] and ScienceDirect. [NAME] [DATABASE NAME]"
Caltech attorneys gave the green light but they would like to have the OK from other Wormbase members. So they need an e-mail from somebody at Hinxton and OICR stating that there are no objections.
