On alternate years from the International C. elegans Meeting at UCLA, there are specific regional and topical meetings held at various locations around the world. WormBase includes the meeting abstracts from these meetings in our database.

Here are the steps for getting the regional and topical meeting abstracts into postgres and then WormBase:

  1. Contact Meeting Organizers

Meeting organizers typically contact WormBase to ask for help in announcing their meeting. This help usually comes in the form of a News item for the homepage as well as an email announcement to the WormBase mailing list.

Typical locations and topics include: East Asia C. elegans Meeting Development and Gene Expression Evolutionary Biology of C. elegans Neurobiology C. elegans Males Aging, Pathogenesis, Stress Response
