WormBase Policy on changing meeting abstracts

Paul Sternberg (with consultation with Tim Schedl, Martin Chalfie, Cori Bargmann, and Jonathan Hodgkin; November 2007)

Typos can be fixed if they increase clarity, e.g., correctly name a gene.

Retractions will be noted as part of the abstract as a corrigendum, and can include discussion of the reason.

Changes in the authorship can also be noted along with the abstract as a corrigendum.

Abstracts will not be removed from WormBase,, as this changes the historical record.
