• IWM sign-up sheets, 69 names, 8 interested in reviewing

**create a mailing list for uPub announcements
**start database(?) of interested people and possible roles - authors, reviewers

• One submission for expression pattern, sent out for review but have not heard back

Website stats

• Number of visitors since IWM greatly increased- ~2000 unique/week, ~2800 page views

Needs discussion/decisions

• micropubs vs data submission to WB: What to do when users only want to submit data and not micropublish? ex. Updike submissions
  • Daniela: One thought is that WormBase does not take personal communications any more- to my knowledge. So the micropub seems the only way to get these data out.

• Coko collaboration: When should we start discussions with them?
• Logo:
  • Use Nemametrix designer? ~700USD ($75/hr);
  • Who did the AGR logo and how much was it?
  • Use other sources? e.g. Design Crowd- designers competing on a logo design
• Next steps: solicit submissions from people that signed up?
• Editorial board: Any more thoughts on who to have?

Minutes

• We will do the quick fix to the submission forms to clarify what information is required - with expansion of Figure legend information
• WormBase is no longer taking personal communication submissions for expression patterns, all things will be micropublished
• Will reach out with Coko to start discussing needs and timelines
• Go with uP IWM booklet designer for logo

• Soliciting submissions
  • announce on WB blogpost next week, request any datatype - offer templates for whatever data type people have
  • from the IWM sign-up sheet ,solicit no more than 10 at a time, based on response can up or lower submission solicitations
  • send out templates instead of form link
  • need to make sure we are not discouraging people from submitting in the future by having them use the forms
  • solicit starting next week to get summer student submissions
  • reviewer sign up through google forms
  • finish up the phenotype submission form and start to use it

  • function of board will determine people for the board

    • finding reviewers
    • defining what is a uP - ultimately need more submissions to determine uP
